Will my slab crack in the winter?
Concrete moves when the ground under it moves. We excavate to solid ground, build a compacted gravel base, reinforce the pour and cut control joints so any movement happens where we planned it — not across the middle of your slab.
What is stamped concrete and how does it hold up?
Stamped concrete is a standard structural pour finished with texture and color to read like natural stone or slate. Sealed properly and resealed every few years, it handles Maine winters well at a lower cost than laid stone.
Do you pour foundations for garages and additions?
Yes — footings, frost walls and slabs for garages, additions and outbuildings. We handle the excavation and site work too, so one crew takes it from raw ground to a foundation ready for framing.
